After completing his studies in Journalism, Political Science and History at UC Santa Cruz, he emigrating from California to Germany in 2003, where he discovered his passion for translation.

Lucais has dual US-UK citizenship and has spent several years living in Britain. This allows him to translate into American or British English with equal ease.

Lucais translates as often as possible himself and handles most jobs in the areas of economics, social sciences, marketing, and business. For other subject areas, he draws on a select pool of skilled language experts.

You're of course welcome to contact Lucais directly; he can be reached at lsewell@genial-translations.com. You might also be interested in his blog, The Translation Post, where he writes on various topics concerning language and translation.
